A Ba occurrence/claim located 4.7 km (ca. 3 mi) S of Cats Head Mountain, along Big Creek.

Mineralization is barium silicates formed in quartz-sanbornite rock by contact metamorphism of a migmatite adjoining Cretaceous granodiorite pluton.

Description: Alforsite and fluorapatite are scattered within different fine-grained bands which contain a high proportion of quartz and alternate with bands bearing quartz in lesser amounts. Both bands contain abundant celsian, witherite, sanbornite with accessory, disseminated fresnoite, walstromite, tourmaline and pyrite. Nearly pure fluorapatite is also common in these samples.
