A former underground Cu-Pb-Ag mine located in the SW¼SW¼SW¼ sec. 17, T.21., R.15E. (Mount Wrightson 15 minute topo map), ¾ mile SE of the Burro Mine, at an elevation of about 5,455 feet, on the east slope about 500 feet above the gulch, on private land. The Viceroy Mining Co. had unspecified involvement here (1918).
Mineralization is a vertical fissure trending N.75ºW. in granite porphyry. The vein is traceable westward into Squaw Gulch, where it cuts through diorite, and apparently continues westward as the main Bland vein.
Workings include a tunnel said to be 300 feet long and to connect with a 70 foot shaft near its face.
