Structure: Ne Trending Fault

Alteration: Sericitization, Pyritization, Tourmalined; Silicification

Deposit: Silver-bearing and gold-bearing quartz-tourmaline veins. Quartz veins, stockworks and silicification in zone trending n45e, 65 s W in rochester rhyolite. Wall rock is silicified with some tourmaline. Zone is 1-2 m wide. Abundant pyrite, locally abundant tourmaline, sparse sphalerite. Opened by two adits. Worked from 1913 to 1929. Three narrow quartz veins have been worked. ; info.src : 1 pub lit; 2 unpub rept; 3 field observ

Deposit type: Low-sulfide Au-quartz vein

Development: Worked from 1913-1923. Reopened briefly in late 1970's when an attempt was made at mining veins and heap-leaching. No apparent activity- in 1984.

Geology: Silver-bearing and gold-bearing quartz-tourmaline veins.. Anomalous radioactivity occurs along a fault zone in rhyolite. The strongest radioactivity is in roadcuts 150 ft- s W of main adit of lincoln hill mine over a 5 ft square area, but no U minerals were observed.
