Outcrops of volcanic rocks (pillow lava, etc.) in the area surrounding Casera Campigàt (1801 m), sometimes at the contact with dolostone (Coston della Vena).
Various mineral occurrences are known for this area: quartz (hyaline, amethyst, and pink) in geodic cavities up to 20 cm in diametre from the Sass Negher (Sasso Negro) northeastern slope; quartz as white double-terminated crystals up to 1-2 cm long from Val della Vena; analcime, native copper, heulandite, fluorite, and chalcedony in the neighbourhood of Casera Campigàt; goethite, bornite, chalcopyrite, and malachite at Coston della Vena.
