Structure: Vein Is Located Within A Fracture Which Is Part Of Radiating System Of Fractures Associated With Copper Flat Porphyry.
Commodity: Analytical data reported by g.t. Harley, 1934 p.150.
Deposit: Vein consists of a long continuous zone of fractured andesite ranging from 2 ft to 8 ft wide. High grade ore occurs As shoots and pockets in a seam of mineralized quartz varying from one to several inches wide. Minor seams of ore are scattered throughout the vein. 7 patented claims mineral survey no. 1851 covering 91.691 acres. 4 claims of undetermined status.
Geology: For regional geology see hillsboro district ; geol.desc: may refer to attempt to recover hg in a gold mill
Ore(s): Mineralized Solutions Rising From A Shallow Igneous Mass Were Channeled Along Fault-Fracture Zones And Localized In Voids And Brecciated Zones.
