A small former surface and underground W-Au-Ag-Cu-Pb set of mine groups located in the S½ sec. 34, S½ sec. 35, and the SW¼ sec. 36, T3N, R18W. These are rather widely separated mine groups in a rough East-West line. Owned at times, or in part, by Livingston; and, William Brothers.
Mineralization is sporadic, high-grade pockets, scattered crystals, and small masses of scheelite, associated with tourmaline, minor copper mineralization, and gold in quartz veins and stringers along a belt of Mesozoic sediments including limestone, quartzite, and schist. Some lead mineralization exists at the East end of the zone.
Workings include shaft, adit, and open cut operations. Worked for gold and tungsten. Estimated production for the groups would be a few tons of hand-sorted ore and concentrates containing 15-60% WO3. Some small amounts of gold, silver, and copper ore were also produced.
