A former small surface and underground Cu-Ag-Au-Zn mine located in the W½, sec. 26, T.15S., R.30E, approximately 12 miles SW of San Simon, on private land. Owned by the Willie Rose Copper Mining Co.

Mineralization is spotty, high-grade chalcocite and other copper sulfides in a contact zone between Permian limestone and intrusive rhyolite. The main ore shoot reported to be 200 feet wide.
Host rock units include the Naco Group, Colina Limestone, and the Concha Limestone. Ore control was the contact zone between the limestone and rhyolite.

Local structures include beds that strike E-W and dip 50S. N-S-trending normal faults and N-S trending Tertiary rhyolite intrusives.

Workings include 2 shafts. One was 188 feet deep and the other was 108 feet deep in 1917. A total of about 150 tons of ore were produced intermittently between 1913 and 1953.
