The Rootbeer pegmatite is an advanced, well formed pegmatite that lies in the Delmoe Lake area of the Boulder Batholith, Jefferson County, Montana. The pegmatite is comprised of large aplite/graphic granite outcrops at the base of a hill. The list of minerals found at this locale, is extensive, and includes, but is not limited to: Quartz var. Morion (Smoky Quartz), Microcline Feldspars, Schorl, Rutile, Muscovite, Mica, Topaz, Blue Cleavelandite, Molybdenite, Pyrite, Garnet var. spessartine, Albite, Quartz var. Amethyst. This locality has since been claimed.
