Old sulphide mining area in the upper Mosinggraben.
Represents the northern part of the sulphide mineralisations extending southwards down to the Arzberg Mt. locality.

Disseminated copper-iron sulphide ores (hosted in metamorphic rocks), mined by adits, were smelted in Annaberg. Vitriol was also produced.

There is also a substantial pegmatite outcrop slightly north of the "Mosinghof" SE of Neusiedl.
