A northwest-trending zone, about 25 km long and 5 km wide, in the northern margin of the the Borujerd complex hosts several hundred older pegmatites (about 120 Ma old), which have intruded into contact-metamorphic rocks. They occur as veins and elongated bodies, up to 100 m long and up to 30 m thick, and typically lack biotite. The most important of these pegmatites are located east of Kalejobe village.
