Kuroko-type volcanic hosted massive sulphide (VHMS) copper-(zinc) deposit.
The largest deposit in the Baiyinchang orefield.

This deposit has been mined out. The open pit which once had a similar size as that of the neighbouring Huoyanshan Mine was largely backfilled (see current satellite map).
