Small-scale granitoid-related vein-type gold deposit, hosted in late Archean migmatized granite and situated between the Tianqiao monzonite intrusion in the south, and the Lanjiatun plagioclase granite in the north. Varied dikes of diorite, lamprophyre, quartz porphyry are widespread in the area. Two main gold veins are located in EW-trending fault zones. The deposit mineral textures are cataclastic, filling, metasomatic and inclusive and occur in breccia, stockwork, disseminations, lumps and honeycombs. Alteration closely related to gold deposition includes silica alteration, pyrite alteration, chalcopyrite alteration and limonitization. Depositional age is interpreted at about 180 Ma based on a K-Ar isotopic age for parallel diorite dikes. The deposit is interpreted as related to magmatic hydrothermal fluids.
